Missing teeth? We help you smile again

If you’re missing teeth, you may be self-conscious about your smile and worried about the impact on your oral health. But don’t worry! At Enhance Aesthetic Hub, we offer a variety of tooth restoration options, including dental implants and extractions to help you smile again.

If you have missing teeth or severely decayed teeth, a dental bone graft may be necessary to provide a strong and stable foundation for dental implants. Bone grafting is a surgical procedure that can help rebuild and restore the gum tissue around missing teeth. This can not only improve the appearance of your smile but also protect the exposed roots of your teeth from further damage and decay.

Whether you’re interested in exploring the benefits of a dental bone graft or any other dental procedures, Dr. Pratibha Pardeshi and Team from Enhance Aesthetic Hub are here to help you regain confidence and recover your smile! Request an appointment today.

Frequently Asked Questions

1.What is bone graft surgery like?

Bone grafting is a straight forward procedure that typically takes less than 90 minutes to complete.

  • Before the procedure begins, the patient will be given local anaesthesia or a sedative to help them relax.
  • A small incision will be made in the gums, and the graft will be placed and secured in the desired area.
  • Once the graft is in place, stitches will be used to close the incision.

The entire procedure is designed to be as minimally invasive and comfortable as possible for the patient!

Traditionally, bone material for grafting procedures has been taken from other parts of the patient’s body. However, there are now more advanced and less invasive options available. These alternatives include synthetic materials, donated human bone, or bone from animals such as cows.

Although you may feel better within 1-2 weeks after the procedure, the grafted bone will not be fully ready to support an implant for approximately 3 to 4 months.

Most patients can expect to feel fully recovered within 1-2 weeks after a bone grafting procedure. Some patients may experience discomfort or soreness in the days following the surgery, but this can typically be managed with over-the-counter pain medication. If you have any concerns about your recovery, be sure to discuss them with our dental team.
